Christian Brembeck: English

Christian Brembeck, an extraordinary german organist, harpsichordist and conductor, was born in Munich in 1960. In 1981 he received the Organ Prize of the City of Würzburg, in 1987 he completed his studies at the State College of Music in Munich with a master class diploma. He then developed an extensive and diverse concert career as organ virtuoso, harpsichord recitalist, chamber musician and especially as conductor in Europe (all the major cities and festivals), Israel, the Far East and South America.

Christian Brembeck regularly works with the Parthenia ensembles, which he himself founded, and since 1992 he has been the permanent conductor of the chamber orchestra Cappella Istropolitana (Bratislava).

Since 1987 he has been at the permanent disposal of the Munich Philharmonic (where he also was a scholar of the legendary Sergiu Celibidache), the Tölz Boys´Choir as accompanist and continuo player.

 Numerous appearances as guest conductor and recitalist at home and abroad, as well as an extensive discography (Capriccio, Naxos, Arte nova, PAN, Pavane, Sony, etc.) are proof of Christian Brembeck´s artistic wealth.
